Is my financial data secure?

Yes! All your expense data is stored locally on your iPhone and protected by iOS encryption. We never upload your financial data to any server. Your data is also protected by Face ID or Touch ID if you enable it.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required! Nomu works completely offline and stores everything on your device. You can start tracking expenses immediately after downloading.

How does the AI Advisor work?

When you ask the AI Advisor a question, your query and a summary of your spending categories are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4 API. No personal information or individual transactions are shared. The AI provides educational insights based on your spending patterns.

What UAE merchants are supported?

Nomu recognizes 130+ UAE merchants including DEWA, Carrefour, Spinneys, Union Coop, Talabat, Deliveroo, ENOC, ADNOC, and many more. The app learns your preferences and improves over time.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings > scroll to the bottom > tap "Delete All Data". This will permanently remove all your expenses, budgets, and learned patterns from your device.

Is Arabic supported?

The app currently has a full English interface. Arabic localization with RTL support is coming in a future update based on community feedback.

What's included in the free tier?

The free tier includes core expense tracking, 130+ merchant auto-recognition, basic budget management, and 3 AI advisor questions per day. No ads, no account required.

How do I report a bug?
